Did you know that IFC Section 901. 9 now requires that the fire alarm monitoring agency is required to notify the local fire official when services are terminated? This would include any time a facility changes providers. This code change should help you as the local AHJ keep a better track of the systems that the monitoring is terminated from either a change or simply because somebody did not pay their bill.
